Artequeso Farmstead Manchego

Artisanal Manchego Cheese with Protected Designation of Origin. Made from raw milk from Manchego sheep and matured for 10 to 12 months on a farm in Tembleque. Pressed paste cheese, with marks on the rind of the flower and the pleita. The aged cheese has a natural rind. The cheese is spread with oil, thus encouraging the growth of moulds, which make the cheese's maturation unique and result in a cheese with an intense flavour but maintaining a texture that makes it easier to cut and process the cheese.
