Castle Rock Lodi Zinfandel

Est. 1994. Our Castle Rock Zinfandel is made from grapes grown in California's Lodi region, recognized as a premium growing location for this varietal since the 1850's. Here, the long dry summers and cool moist winters pair with the deep sandy clay loam soils to provide ideal growing conditions. This full-bodied wine has outstanding complexity and character with flavors of blackberry, raspberry and plum mixed with pepper, spice and earth, with a soft lingering finish. It provides an excellent accompaniment to grilled chicken, steak or lamb and most pasta dishes. Alc. 13.5% by vol. Cellared & bottled by Castle Rock Winery, Geyserville, California.
