Bieler Pere et Fils Bandol Rose

Bandol Rosé Wine has aromas and flavors of savory herbs, cherry, blood orange, almond and black licorice, all held together with a backbone of vibrant acidity. This blush wine blend is a pale, but vibrant, copper and has a bit more Mourvèdre than usual which brings a strong ripe tangerine and herbs de Provence profile with notes of white cherry, peach, with underlying minerality and bead of salinity. The 2020 vintage received 90 points from the Wine Spectator. This pink wine is comprised of the following: Mourvèdre 58%, Grenache 40%, Cinsault 2%. Pair this rosé with soft cheeses like brie or goat cheese, pesto pasta or seafood dishes such as salmon. Bandol wine is the smallest and most prestigious region in Provence. Their fruit is from the village of Le Castellet where it is grown on a mix of deep limestone soils and sandy marls. Rosé from Bandol is typically fuller and more substantial than the rest of Provence and theirs is no exception. It’s the equal parts power and finesse that makes it so special. One 750mL bottle of Bandol Rosé Wine, 13.5% alcohol by volume.
