Edmeades is pure Mendocino style. It's the authentic taste of one of California's final frontiers. At Edmeades, our approach is traditional and natural; our methods are decidedly low tech. We believe in native yeast fermentation in small bins, hand punch downs and minimal manipulation. Our 2006 Zinfandel is built around several vineyards planted more than 50 years ago. With dollops of smoke, graham cracker, chocolate and fruit, it reminds us of raspberry s'mores fresh from the campfire. Alcohol 15.5% by volume.
