Royal Tokaji Red Label. The Aszu or sweet wines of the tokaji region in northeast Hungary have enjoyed fame since the 17th century. The unique combination of volcanic soil, hot summers, autumn fog, indigenous grape varieties and yeasts, deep cellars and skilful wine-making combine to produce a wine unlike any other where silky sweetness co-exists with uplifting acidity. Serve slightly chilled with foie gras, cheese, fruit, desserts or on its own. Sugar at harvest: 350,1 g/l, residual sugar: 158 g/l. Protected designation of origin.
