Pedroncelli Sauvignon Blanc, East Side Vineyards, 2002

Special Vineyard Selection. In Geyserville since 1927. Dry Creek Valley Sonoma County. Sauvignon Blanc grown in Dry Creek Valley is renowned for creating a wine of distinct character. East Side refers to some of our vineyards planted along Dry Creek, for which the valley was named. The vines on the eastern side receive early morning sun and, with the influence of fog, these elements combine to retain the delicate balance of golden, ripe fruit and crisp flavor. Our East Side vineyards combine the best of the vineyard, soil, and climate characteristics. Our Sauvignon Blanc is typical of the Dry Creek Valley influence with lemon grass and peach components. The Pedroncelli family is one of the early grape growing settlers in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley. Patiently working the soil and tending their vines since 1927, Pedroncelli's rich history ensures quality and enjoyment with each glass. Alc. 13.5% by Vol.
